so after last weekends excursion to pondicherry, carla and i decided to spend a chill one here in vellore. and i also wanted to go see the leprosy clinic which is Saturday mornings. so it worked out well. I learned alot in a very short amount of time. Leprosy is scary and sad. That's all I have to say about that.
we have heard about this "pool" here that is apparently exclusive and the coolest thing to do on weekends, but yesterday it was not sunny! for the first time since we've been here! but hopefully we will have better luck today. Also, heros came on TV last night, and its pretty good.
Other than that, we are just sleeping and eating and relaxing. Next week, we are at the rural health care center about an hour away and then we are going to a leprosy village, where people that were turned out of their community because of their deformities, live. And then on Friday night we are off to Goa for their annual carnival! We also heard about a place where you can bathe elephants and climb waterfalls, so now carla and i are super excited. between the camels and elephants, i am jumping up and down like a three year old:)
so nothing much going on over here this weekend; missing everyone over there lots.
